Volkswagen India January sales up by 3pct

Volkswagen today posted a 3.36% increase in sales in India to 5,789 units for January. The company sold 5,601 units in the corresponding period last year.

Volkswagen said that its compact car 'Polo' and sedan 'Vento' continue to be the backbone for the brand, with a total of 5,402 units
