Goldcorp Announces Change to Board of Directors Following the Arrangement

VANCOUVER, March 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ - GOLDCORP INC. ("Goldcorp") (TSX: G, NYSE: GG) announced today that Mr. Ian Telfer, the Chairman of Goldcorp, has informed Newmont Mining Corporation ("Newmont") (NYSE: NEM) that he will not be joining the Newmont Goldcorp Board of Directors upon completion of the proposed acquisition of Goldcorp by Newmont.   Mr. Telfer is focusing all of his efforts on having the Goldcorp shareholders approve the pending transaction with Newmont.
