Growth Trends Predicted for the Winch and Crane Industry

WINONA, Minn., Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Thern Inc. released a report today for the Industrial and Water/Wastewater market segments that predicts steady growth in the need for winches and cranes.

Thern Inc. hired a Twin Cities research firm to conduct a blind market study late this Summer 2018, and 41.4 percent of respondents indicated that their demand for winches and davit cranes would increase in the near future. The study connected with over 4,000 decision makers in the industry and respondents placed the greatest importance on product quality, reliability, knowledge/expertise and delivery time when choosing a supplier.

According to the research, product quality and reliability are the two most important factors for decision makers when choosing a supplier, and Thern Inc. outranks all other competitors in these two categories. With a growth in the need for winches and davit cranes, enhanced product innovation is also expected in the coming years. Thern Inc.'s report arrives in conjunction with the launch of the company's refreshed website at, www.thern.com.

"It's an exciting time at Thern. We are proud of our 70-plus-year legacy of being a trusted supplier," said Tedd Morgan, President & CEO of Thern Inc. "The updated website gives our customers a more complete picture of our expanded capabilities and strengthens our position as the go-to supplier in the industry. We've refreshed and updated our website, but the core values at Thern will never change—personal and prompt customer service and delivering high-quality products at the best value."
