TMS International Dedicates, Opens EPS Plant In Chile

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TMS International recently dedicated and began operation of a new Extruded Product Services (EPS®) plant at the CAP Acero Steel operation in Concepción, Chile. This marks TMS' first operation in Chile.

Plant festivities included a ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the operation and a reception. Dedication speeches by Rodrigo Briceño, CAP Acero CEO; Henry Campos, Mayor of Talcahuano Region and various other local political leaders; Filiberto Morales, TMS Vice President of Operations; and Luis Grau, Diproinduca Chile Spa, Director of South America region, stressed the importance of this project for protecting the environment, the community and the ability to reuse residues.
