The Royal Canadian Mint Invites the Public to Trade their Change for the New 100th Anniversary of the Armistice Commemorative Circulation Coin

Coin designer Laurie McGaw will make a special appearance

OTTAWA, Nov. 7, 2018 /CNW/ -

What: 

The Royal Canadian Mint has launched a $2 circulation coin honouring the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, the historic peace treaty that ended the First World War on November 11, 1918.




Be among the first to collect the coloured version of this remembrance-themed commemorative circulation coin by attending a one-day-only public coin exchange hosted by the Royal Canadian Mint and Canada Post Corporation.




This will also be a unique opportunity to meet the artist behind the coin.




A maximum of two coins per guest can be exchanged, while supplies last.



When: 

Friday, November 9, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
