Jim Letourneau, "I like Matamec Explorations (MAT.V)"

James Altucher, ”In addition to SLV, PAAS, CDE, I also like stocks that are correlated to gold but have a "backdoor", i.e. I expect them to go up if the economy strengthens and even if gold goes down.” [Expert Opinion] “provides more details but I like CSH - Cash America - pawn shops hold onto gold but pawn shops are also replacing banks as the main source for subprime borrowers to get their alternative banking done. The company trades for just nine times forward earnings. I also like ... (drumroll) the telecom corporation of New Zealand (NZT). New Zealand is the currency most correlated with gold (thanks to its dependence on Australia, the third largest exporter of gold). NZT will go up with the NZ economy.  It also pays a 10% dividend and trades for seven times earnings so it’s cheap and you get paid while you wait.”

Christopher Ecclestone, "New Gold, Nyrstar, Capital Gold, Patagonia Gold, Amerigo Resources, Etruscan Minerals, Geovic."

Jason Hamlin, "I spend the majority of my time researching up-and-coming junior miners that I believe have the right ingredients to hit it big.  These are typically near-term producers with an experienced management team, assets in politically-stable regions, encouraging drills results, low production costs, low or no debt and access to the financing needed to progress projects.  A few that have just started to break out are SEMAFO, OceanaGold and Fortuna Silver.  In the rare earth arena, I live Avalon Rare Metals, which has one of the largest undeveloped deposits in the world.  It is located in Canada, giving Western government access to important resources that are mostly concentrated within China's borders.

In terms of a play on nuclear power, I believe Strathmore Minerals is significantly undervalued relative to its peers.  In fact, I believe the stock should be valued at double or triple is current valuation, based on resources in the ground and their balance sheet.  They bought up uranium properties when prices bottomed in 2003-2004 and are starting a bankable feasibility study for their Roca Honda project in New Mexico during early 2010.

Peter Grandich,  "Evolving Gold (EVG-TSX-V) – You can count on your fingers the number of juniors who have what EVG has on their plate for 2010 and beyond. A massive discovery that seems to have only scratched the surface makes this stock a must buy for speculators.

Rodina Minerals (RM-TSX-V ) – I’ve high hopes for Rodina Minerals. A great management team has been put in place and on one of their key projects they actually surround the only producing Lithum project in the United States.

Silver Quest Resources (SQI-TSX-V) – Some great drill results just announced with many holes ended still in mineralization. Key management appointments by gentlemen who normally don’t get involve with small juniors suggests bigger and better days may be ahead. All my buys are noted in our model portfolio."

Darrell Brookstein,  "I like Rare Element (RES/RRLMF) and Quest Uranium (QUC/QSURF) in rare earths and Animas Resources (ANI/ANIMF) in gold."

Leonard Melman, “Being primarily an information service, we don't normally provide recommendations.  However, one stock of some interest which readers may wish to check out is "Golden Hope" with properties under development in Quebec Province, Canada.”

Peter Schiff, President and Chief Global Strategist, Euro Pacific Capital, “We like the Canadian energy trusts, agriculture stocks in East Asia, and mining companies outside the U.S. We have a somewhat dated, but still very relevant, special report on Canadian energy trusts here.
