Oil Search spuds PNG South 1 well

As at 0600 hrs PNG time on 2 February, the well was at a depth of 366 metres and drilling ahead in a 17-1/2' hole. P'nyang South 1 is located four kilometres south west of the P'nyang 1x gas discovery and approx. 90 kms north west of the Juha gas field. The primary objectives are the Toro, Digimu and P'nyang sandstone.
