CALGARY, Sept. 7 /CNW/ - (TSX Venture: WMI) - Whetstone Minerals Ltd. ("Whetstone") today announced that Paul Nagerl, President and Chief Executive Officer of Whetstone, has resigned effective immediately.

Concurrent with this announcement, the Board of Directors of Whetstone has embarked on a process to recruit a President and Chief Executive Officer. Allan Dolan, the Chairman of Whetstone, has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis.
