Sayona Mining Ltd (ASX:SYA) Authier Definitive Feasibility Study Update
Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) (OTCMKTS:DMNXF) ("Sayona" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the main components of Authier Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") including, the mining, processing and infrastructure have been awarded to BBA.

BBA is an independent Canadian consulting engineering firm operating internationally. Its team is composed of highly-qualified experts in several engineering disciplines including electrical, civil, mechanical, industrial data processing, mining, metallurgical processes, automation, and construction management.

BBA have extensive experience in the Canadian mining industry and have been actively involved in Feasibility Studies for Quebec lithium projects including, Nemaska and the North American Lithium project.

A number of other DFS work programs including geotechnical, transport and environmental have been outsourced to specialist contractors are underway.

The company is targeting completion of the DFS in the second quarter calendar 2018.

In addition to the DFS, two other work programs are progressing, including:

- A Phase 3 drilling program is progressing to collect a large sample for pilot metallurgical testing, geotechnical and further optimisation of the Authier resource and reserve; and

- A pilot metallurgical program is being planned to operate at SGS Lakefield in late December and early January 2018. The program will involve processing between 5 and 10 tonnes of Authier ore. Data collected will be used for engineering and design purposes for the DFS. Furthermore, concentrate produced will be used for the production of lithium carbonate and samples for potential purchasers of Authier concentrates.

Authier is one of the more advanced lithium hard rocks projects in the world and has the potential to be in production in 2019/2020. In parallel with the DFS, Mining Licence applications, offtake contracts and financing activities are being advanced. Subject to receiving all the development permits, construction of Authier is expected to commence in the second half of 2018".
