Corporate Social Responsibility Trip to Greenland
We wanted to share an update from our recent corporate social responsibility trip to Greenland in which Mark Fedikow met with community and business councils, the Hunters and Fishers Associations and the Greenland Employers Association in the communities of Nuuk, Napasoq, Maniitsoq and Sisimiut. In the evening, community meetings were organized and were open to the general public to discuss the potential impacts since 2011 that North American Nickel’s exploration program has had on their communities and livelihood.

The approach was to explain who we are, where we are operating, how we do our job and specifically how we can work cooperatively with local communities to realize mutual economic benefits and trustworthy relationships.  The meetings were well attended and it was gratifying to hear that community members continue to be highly supportive of the Company and want the Company to be successful with its exploration.

Mark summarizes this and his experience over the last two weeks in our recently recorded podcast. To listen to this please click on the link below. Also, to really appreciate the journey Mark embarked on, we have included a map below which shows the community locations.

We are in the final stages of getting our team on the ground in Maniitsoq and we look forward to providing a detailed update on our exploration plans in the near term.
